A passion for antiques and the love of textiles, both new and old, led Marie Curtis into the world of Interior design. From a young age, Marie was inspired by her grandmother’s collection of antique lighting and accessories.

In 2008, upon graduating from the University of Mississippi, Marie moved back to her native town of Jackson, MS and began working with her brother and fellow interior designer, Matthew Nicholas. She would accompany her brother on trips to find special pieces for clients. While on these trips, she found herself collecting antiques similar to those from her grandmother’s collection.

While her collection began with antique frames, it has grown to include antique Italian glass frames, lighting, furniture, and accessories. Marie was in awe of the detail given to accessories from the early 1900s and wanted to give them new life. While Marie’s main focus is interior design, she continues to collect and restore pieces for her collection to share with fellow interior designers and clients.  Marie is now based in St. Louis, Missouri where she continues to follow her dream as an interior designer.
